October 8, 2017 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven will host its annual Majors Fair on October 12, 10 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the Dr. Billy Kim International Center. All academic departments at Belhaven will be in attendance for freshmen and other students who might be considering a different degree and career path.
This interactive and insightful event gives students the opportunity to explore other majors, minors and electives.
Claire Langley, director of Belhaven's Center for Career and Calling said, “Students come into college with a wide range of expectations - for themselves and, often times, from others as well. Sometimes, after a couple of months, their minds begin to explore new possibilities opening up to them for the first time. This is a great event to see all of their options in one place. Of course, if they have no desire to change their major, there is still much to learn and explore.”
