December 13, 2018 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven's Spring Welcome Week 2019 is January 5 and will mark the beginning of a new semester with a week of exciting events.
“Welcome Week will give both new and returning students a chance to dive into campus life as they connect with friends and find ways to get involved long-term,” said Marianna Stone, director of Belhaven's Office of Student Development.
The Welcome Week 2019 Schedule provides students and parents a comprehensive list of all activities. Stone noted, “We'll have food and games, the museum, and orientation breakfast for students who are starting their first semester at Belhaven. After that, the Get Involved Fair will showcase organizations that new and returning students can join. The National Championship Football Game Watch Party, bowling, and Capture the Flag are all chances to meet people and have fun. Basketball games and Mozart by Candlelight will highlight Belhaven's athleticism and appreciation for the arts.”
New students will have academic advising sessions and a chance to meet student leaders, staff, administrators, and others who make up the Belhaven family.
