January 26, 2018 (Jackson, Miss.) - Little Women The Musical will premiere at Belhaven's Blackbox Theatre. This timeless, captivating story from the Belhaven Theatre Department is brought to life with music and is filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope, and everlasting love.

Based on Louisa May Alcott's novel, Little Women The Musical follows the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested. With the advice and help of her friend, Professor Bhaer, Jo weaves the story of herself, her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America.
General admission is $10 and $5 for seniors and students. Admission is free for Belhaven students, faculty, staff and their immediate families. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each performance.
