February 26, 2019 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven University is one of only a hundred universities in the country to receive the distinction of America's 100 Best College Buys. This is the 15th consecutive year Belhaven was recognized for its affordability and financial aid.

America's 100 Best College Buys are selected by Institutional Research and Evaluation, Inc., an independent analysis and consultant organization specializing in the recruiting and retention of students for institutions of higher learning. The list was chosen from among 1,469 colleges and universities in the United States included in the 27th Annual National College Survey.
The institutions chosen must be accredited, four-year institutions offering bachelor degrees and full residential facilities, including residence halls and dining services. Schools must also have an entering freshman class with a high school grade point average and/or SAT/ACT score equal to or above the national average for entering college freshmen.
