March 28, 2019 (Jackson, Miss.) - Creative writing students will showcase their works of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction and scripts for screen and stage during the student writer series, Best of Belhaven's Writers.
This event, happening April 4, 6-7:30 p.m. in the Student Center Theater, is free and open to the public. Students will read selected works, sharing their passion and love for writing. When these writers graduate, they will join a group of alumni who have published novels, won national poetry prizes and secured positions with prestigious presses and institutions of higher education.
