March 4, 2019 (Jackson, Miss.) - A student's junior year in high school is an important time to prepare for college.
Belhaven University's Junior Day, happening on Friday, April 17, is a day of focus for only juniors and their parents. Students will get the opportunity to talk with professors and staff, ask questions about campus life, take a tour, observe a class, and learn how to prepare for college.
The Junior Day 2020 schedule is below:
8:30 a.m. Check-in
9 a.m. Welcome
9:30 a.m. Scholars and You (Professor Panel)
10 a.m. Mock Class Observation - all students
Financial Planning Session -parents
11 a.m. Campus Tour
12:30 p.m. Lunch
1:30 p.m. College Prep with Danny Shaw
(a session on
college preparedness for juniors)
2 p.m. Belhaven Life Q&A Session
2:30 p.m. Wrap Up with Admission Counselor and Advocate
