November 6, 2020 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven's Student Composer Concert 2020 will be two special performance showcasing several arrangements of music from students earning a Bachelor of Music in Composition.
These free and musically-interactive performances are November 6 and 10, 7:30 p.m. in the Belhaven Center for the Arts Concert Hall.
This semester's concert will feature sophomore Zachariah Mayberry and seniors Noelani Perry, Josiah Pervis, and Cristan Trexler.
Dr. Andrew Sauerwein, Belhaven's Chair of Music Department, said “The composers forum invites you to participate in a new approach to making new music with Belhaven student composers and performers. Join us as we bring freshly fabricated musical worlds to life in a hybrid real/virtual performance space.” Please contact music@belhaven.edu for additional information.
