March 26, 2020 (Jackson, Miss.) - In the midst of social distancing, Belhaven has created a way for high school students to visit and experience the University without setting a foot on campus. Belhaven will host a Virtual Discover Day on Friday, April 17. Students will visit in real-time with admission staff, faculty, Belhaven University's President and many more.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet a professor in their major, ask questions, see him or her face-to-face, and take a virtual tour of campus. They will also have a chance to "meet" with their personal admission counselor and talk about the enrollment process, including application and financial aid procedures. The Virtual Discover Day schedule will give a full list of events for the day.
Students must register online. Once they register, they will be sent information and a link to access the event. They only need a computer or phone withInternet access and camera.
Belhaven will also add $1000 to first-year scholarship packages just for attending a Discover Day. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-800-960-5940 if you have any questions.
