January 25, 2022 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven University's Senior Art Exhibition will showcase the works of visual art and design majors Amelia Brannon and Nahyeon Shin.
As the culmination of their BFA and BA studies, this exhibit is a collective representation of each student's skill and mastery of visual art.
This exhibit serves as a launching point for professional practice and allows the students to gain practical knowledge of museum work through the curating and installing of their exhibit.
The opening reception for the exhibit will be at the Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and Dance Center Art Gallery on Saturday, February 5 at 2-4 p.m.
This art exhibition is free and open to the public. Their art will be on display February 5 - March 11, and gallery hours include Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
This is just one of the many exciting events from Belhaven's School of Arts. Check out Arts Ablaze for plays, dance and music concerts, poetry readings, gallery exhibits and more happening this year.
