Theatre Department Now Showing "A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur"

September 8, 2023 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven University's Theatre Department announced the upcoming production of "A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur" by Tennessee Williams.

This sharply funny and perceptive play will take place in the Barber Theatre from September 27-30 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee showing on September 30 at 2 p.m. 

Set in 1930’s St. Louis, four very different women attempt to find love, friendship, and meaning in their lives. This later play by Tennessee Williams features his trademark complex characters and poetic dialogue.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for Belhaven University alumni and seniors, and complimentary for Belhaven University students, faculty, and staff and their immediate family. For information or to reserve tickets, email boxoffice@belhaven.edu. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance time.
