Belhaven Needs Singers for the 91st Singing Christmas Tree

September 20, 2023 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven University is sending an open invitation to join students, staff, faculty, and alumni on the 91st Belhaven Singing Christmas Tree, happening December 1-2 at 7:30 p.m.

Anyone in the community can now become more than a spectator and participate in the world's oldest singing Christmas tree tradition, started in 1933.

“Join us for the 91st Belhaven University Singing Christmas Tree,” said Dr. Rebecca Geihsler-Chittom, Belhaven's Chair of the Music Department and Associate Professor of Music. “Singing on the tree is about being part of a rich tradition that is a special gift to our community. My hope is that you will join us on the tree and create some wonderful memories as we kick-off the Christmas season together.”

Fill out the commitment card and let us know if you will be joining us on the 91st Belhaven Singing Christmas Tree.
