Belhaven University to Honor Fall 2025 Graduates

JACKSON, Miss. (November 18, 2025) - Belhaven University will celebrate its Fall 2025 graduates with four commencement ceremonies at the Belhaven  Center for the Arts in Jackson, Mississippi. The day will honor graduates from a variety of academic disciplines, reflecting the university’s commitment to excellence in education.

Commencement schedule for Friday, December 12, 2025:

• • 9 a.m. – Online and Traditional, Undergraduate Students, M.A.B.T.S.
  • 11 a.m. – Graduate, Specialist, Doctoral Students from the School of Education
  • 1 p.m. – M.B.A., M.O.L., Doctoral Students from the School of Business
  • 3 p.m. – M.S.D.S., M.H.A., M.P.A., M.S.A., M.S.I.T.M., M.S.C.I.S., International Graduate Students

Belhaven University President Dr. Roger Parrott will be the speaker for all commencement ceremonies. Dr. Parrott has served as Belhaven University’s president since 1996, overseeing significant growth and transformation within the institution. With over 30 years of experience in educational leadership, Dr. Parrott has been instrumental in expanding Belhaven’s academic programs, including adding highly regarded arts, STEM, and business programs that cater to students across traditional, adult, and online formats. His tenure has also marked the launch of unique initiatives to incorporate Christian faith deeply into Belhaven’s curriculum, aiming to develop both the character and intellect of students.

Dr. Parrott holds a Ph.D. in higher education administration and is the author of The Longview: Lasting Strategies for Rising Leaders and Opportunity Leadership: Stop Planning and Start Getting Results, books that reflect his philosophy on adaptive leadership and faith-driven planning. He is widely recognized for his servant leadership approach and often speaks at conferences, universities, and churches nationwide.
