Belhaven University to Host 2026 Career and Internship Fair

irJACKSON, Miss. (February 9, 2026) - Belhaven University will welcome employers and post-graduate educators to campus for the annual Career and Internship Fair on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Dr. Billy Kim International Center.

Held each spring semester, Belhaven’s Career and Internship Fair connects students and alumni with organizations offering entry-level and mid-career positions, internships, graduate and professional education programs, and summer employment opportunities.

“Our annual career fair is a must-attend event for students and alumni,” said Claire Langley, director of Belhaven’s Center for Career and Calling. “It provides a prime opportunity to network with employers, explore career paths, and practice presenting yourself confidently in a professional setting.”

Recruiters from a wide range of industries will be on hand to speak directly with students about current and upcoming opportunities. The event is open to upper and underclassmen, as well as alumni seeking new career connections.

Students are encouraged to dress professionally, bring copies of their résumés, and be prepared to engage in meaningful conversations with recruiters. Faculty members may also offer course credit or assignments connected to attendance.

Perks for attendees include free T-shirts for the first 50 students to arrive and access to giveaways from participating employers.

The Center for Career and Calling is also available to support students and faculty in preparation for the event. Services include classroom visits, résumé and LinkedIn workshops, interview preparation seminars, and promotional materials for classes.
