Music Department to Host 2026 All-State Strings Concert

JACKSON, Miss. (February 10, 2026) - The Belhaven Music Department will host the Mississippi All-State String Orchestra in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall on March 21 at 3 p.m.  

The Mississippi All-State String Orchestra brings together the most talented precollege and high school string musicians from across the state, allowing them to develop their talents through hard work, collaboration, and dedication.  

After a competitive audition process and two days of intensive rehearsals and training, these exceptional young musicians will perform an inspirational final concert.  

Support the next generation of Mississippi’s finest young musicians as they share their passion and artistry on stage. Admission is free, and doors open at 2:30 p.m.
