Music Department Presents Annual String and Orchestra Showcase 

JACKSON, Miss. (March 11, 2026) - Belhaven University’s Music Department will present captivating string and orchestral pieces on March 20 at 7 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall.  

The music department offers a joyful evening of celebration, highlighting the department’s talent and accomplishments with intimate chamber pieces and full orchestral works by its string soloists, chamber ensembles, and symphonic orchestra.  

This concert will be directed by Chair and Associate Professor of Music Dr. Rebecca Geihsler. It promises to be a night full of energy, excitement, and musical excellence, showcasing the vibrant works of student musicians.

Admission is free, and doors open at 6:30 p.m.
