Belhaven University Transfer Orientation Helps Students Prepare for Fall 2026
JACKSON, Miss. (June 22, 2026) – Belhaven University will welcome incoming transfer students during its upcoming Transfer Orientation on July 17, 2026. Designed specifically for students continuing their college journey at Belhaven, the event provides an opportunity to prepare for the fall semester while connecting with the campus community.
Throughout the day, students will meet with academic advisers to review transfer credits, discuss degree plans, and finalize class schedules. Participants will also hear from university leaders and learn about campus resources, student services, and opportunities for involvement.
Transfer Orientation helps students transition smoothly into life at Belhaven by providing practical information and opportunities to build relationships with fellow students, faculty, and staff. Attendees can also complete important enrollment tasks, including obtaining student ID cards and parking decals.
“Transfer students bring valuable experiences and perspectives to our campus community,” said Bailey Ketteringham, director of admission. “Transfer Orientation is designed to help students feel confident, connected, and ready to begin their Belhaven experience.”
For more information or to register, visit the Transfer Orientation web page or contact the Office of Admission at 601-968-5940.
