Belhaven University Announces Fall 2026 Chapel Series, “Followers of Jesus”
JACKSON, Miss. (August 18, 2026) — Belhaven University’s Fall 2026 Chapel Series will bring the campus community together to worship and explore the stories of people whose encounters with Jesus transformed their lives.
This semester’s series, “Followers of Jesus,” centers on the theme “Real People. Real Stories. Real Faith," and will be led by Belhaven University President Dr. Roger Parrott. Through the lives of biblical figures who encountered Jesus, students will discover how ordinary people learned to follow Christ and were forever changed.
Throughout the semester, chapel messages will focus on the disciples, Matthew, Peter, Thomas, Mary of Bethany, the woman at the well, Zacchaeus, John, and Paul. Their stories will explore themes of discipleship, identity, restoration, faith, love, grace, witness, and devotion to Christ.
The series follows a three-part emphasis: “Seek. Follow. Share.” Students will see how people came looking for Jesus, chose to follow Him, and went on to share with others what He had done in their lives.

- The Woman at the Well — From Shame to Witness

- Paul — Relentless for Christ
