Belhaven University Invites Prospective Students to Fall Discover Day

JACKSON, Miss. (September 14, 2026) — Belhaven University will welcome prospective students and their families to campus for Fall Discover Day on Friday, October 23. The full-day event offers visitors an immersive look at Belhaven’s Christ-centered academic community and the opportunities available to students.

Discover Day begins with check-in at 8:30 a.m. in the Dr. Billy Kim International Center. Throughout the day, prospective students will hear from University leaders, participate in a student panel, tour the campus and residence halls, meet faculty members, and explore Belhaven’s academic programs during a majors fair.

Parents will have an opportunity to learn about scholarships and financial aid, while students receive guidance about the admission process and participate in activities with other prospective students. A complimentary lunch with Belhaven faculty is also included. The event concludes at 2 p.m.

“Choosing a university is about more than selecting a degree program. It is about finding a community where students can grow academically, personally, and spiritually,” said Director of Admission Bailey Ketteringham. “Discover Day allows students and their families to experience Belhaven firsthand, connect with the people who make our community special, and envision what their future could look like here.”

Students who attend Discover Day will receive an additional $1,000 toward their first-year scholarship package. There is no cost to attend, and prospective students of all grade levels and their families are welcome.

Advance registration is required. Students and families can register online or learn more by visiting Belhaven’s Discover Day webpage.
