Belhaven University Invites Businesses to Inaugural Belhaven Connections Event
JACKSON, Miss. (October 8, 2026) — Belhaven University’s School of Business invites local employers to its inaugural Belhaven Connections event on Tuesday, Nov. 10, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Billy Kim International Center on Belhaven’s campus.
Designed as a “meet the firms” event, Belhaven Connections will bring businesses and students together to explore internships and build relationships that can continue beyond the event. The School of Business is seeking partners with opportunities in business administration, sport management, accounting and fashion merchandising, as well as roles involving marketing, finance, computer science and information technology.
“We in the School of Business consider it a privilege to support our students as they explore their career paths and discover where their gifts and talents can make a difference,” said Stacey Hendrix, assistant professor of accounting.
Businesses interested in meeting students and discussing potential internship opportunities are encouraged to register for Belhaven Connections. Organizations do not need to have an internship opening confirmed to begin a conversation about partnering with the School of Business.
