"Through my coursework, I am gaining a deeper appreciation for the importance of strategic planning, ethical leadership, organizational management, communication, and accountability. My studies are challenging me to think about how to establish a clear mission, make thoughtful decisions, serve people effectively, and build something that remains grounded in its purpose. One of the most meaningful lessons of this journey has been recognizing that having a heart to serve is important, but so is being prepared to lead and steward what has been entrusted to you. I believe Belhaven's integration of faith and education is helping me grow in both areas."
