Music Studio Policy

The art of music is a sacred trust, a bestowed gift from the ultimate musical creator, God himself.  As musical artists, our music making offers back to God sounds ordered for His glory.  Artistry that reflects the glory of God requires our ongoing stewardship of our time, education, talent and intellect.  Our desire to return to God a worthy offering in sound should dominate our attitude and motivate the character traits of discipline and dedication.  Attitude is crucial for it reveals our true character and integrity or lack thereof.  Your attitude determines both how disciplined you are in your studies and how dedicated you are to your art.  Our desire is for you to receive the optimal music education at Belhaven University, and the following guidelines are provided as a reference of what is expected of you.
