For prospective students that live outside of the state of Mississippi, we have arranged for you and your family to stay one night free at the Residence Inn at the District (a Marriott property. See instructions below to make reservation.
As our GUEST, you will not only be able to experience our famous hospitality but also be able to check out great shopping and restaurants at locations like The District, Fondren, Dogwood, The Renaissance, or The Township.

Out-of-state guests requesting to receive the ONE FREE NIGHT hotel, please follow these directions:
- To book your room, please follow these instructions:
- Go to the Residence Inn at the District web site and select the date of your stay.
- Click “special rates” and in the corporate account field enter B8U. That’s the corporate ID # for the Belhaven rate ($115).
- Click "Check rooms and rates."
- Select "Studio King Suite w/Sleeper Sofa" and complete the reservation.
- You will need to enter a credit card to reserve your room.
- Once complete, e-mail your confirmation number and date of your stay to admission@belhaven.edu.
- You will be asked for a credit card number to hold the room, but when you tell them you are a guest of Belhaven, the room will be charged to Belhaven upon arrival.
- Only Studio King Suite with Sleeper Sofa fee room fee will be covered by Belhaven (your credit card will remain on file for any incidentals).
- Belhaven will cover the cost of ONE NIGHT only. Additional nights may be purchased at the $115 Belhaven University rate.
- Must be a resident from out of state.
- Offer valid until November 30, 2022.
- If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so 24-hours prior to arrival.
