The graphic design program teaches students how to use the elements and principles of art to solve problems for clients. Belhaven encourages its students to go beyond the basics and use their graphic design degree for the benefit of the kingdom. Experienced faculty help students cultivate critical thinking about design issues, define industry best practices, and offer visual problem-solving methodologies.

Among graphic design colleges, Belhaven stands out with its practical approach to the fundamentals of visual communication. Coursework for graphic design majors includes independent projects that contribute to the body of research and art making.
