The 2014 Belhaven Career Fair is this Thursday, February 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Student Center. This career fair draws top employers in the Jackson area and statewide as well as federal agencies.
Claire Langley, Director of Career Services, said, “The annual Belhaven Career Fair is an event every student should be a part of. The fair is focused on getting jobs for students and alumni by bringing in solid employers who are currently hiring. Whether you are looking for an entry-level job after graduation, an internship to get real world experience while still in school, or simply looking for summer work; this career fair will be a great event to attend. Students and alumni are encouraged to come suited-up, résumé in hand, and ready to network.”
Representative from businesses and organizations such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi, Hartfield Academy, Miss. Department of Education, St. Dominic Hospital, Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance, Reformed Theological Seminary, Miss. State Personnel Board, Mississippi Public Broadcasting and more will be taking resumes and hiring.
