Belhaven University Unveils Refreshed Brand Identity
JACKSON, Miss. (July 24, 2026) - Belhaven University has unveiled a refreshed brand identity, featuring a new logo, wordmark, and visual identity designed to present the University with greater clarity, consistency, and strength.
Rooted in Belhaven's heritage, the new branding draws inspiration from the iconic columns and fountain in Verne Kennedy Plaza, the symbolic heart of campus. The refreshed brand reflects a university that has grown and evolved while remaining firmly grounded in its historic mission.
“Our new branding gives visible expression to the strength, momentum, and clarity of purpose shaping Belhaven’s future while honoring the history and unwavering mission that have guided the University for nearly a century and a half,” said Belhaven President Dr. Roger Parrott.
The launch comes during a period of significant momentum for Belhaven. The University has achieved record enrollment, attained doctoral-granting status, and expanded its impact across the community, state, nation, and around the world.
The new logo captures one of Belhaven's most recognizable campus landmarks, while a refined wordmark and updated palette of richer green and gold create a more distinctive and cohesive visual presence. Together, these elements provide a stronger, more unified identity across digital platforms, print publications, signage, and campus environments.
The refreshed identity will be implemented gradually across University communications, marketing materials, recruitment initiatives, and other institutional touchpoints. The updated brand strategy is designed to strengthen consistency and recognition while supporting Belhaven's continued growth and mission.
The brand refresh was led by Belhaven alumna Erin Fults '05 in partnership with Friesen Design.
