Fact: I am a high school Sunday School teacher.

I chose to come to Belhaven because... Originally, I became interested in Belhaven for the Track and Field program, but what really drew me in and kept me here was the unique Christian atmosphere on campus. The moment I walked on campus I felt at peace and knew that this was where God wanted me to be.

One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven is... Belhaven offers multiple work study opportunities. Through my work-study job in the Mailroom, I have built great relationships with all those in the Campus Operations. They have stuck by my side the last 4 years and have helped me through some hard times. I have also established great relationships with my professors. Dr. Carr has helped me see what I was capable of beyond Belhaven and helped me to decide to pursue graduate school.

Because of my degree from Belhaven University... I will be able to pursue my dream of becoming a Physical Therapist. I am going to be attending the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program.
