Computer Recommendations for Graphic Design Program
The Graphic Design program uses industry standard Apple Macintosh computers in both labs.
- CPU: Intel Core i5 or i7; or Apple M1 or higher.
- Display: 14 or 16 in., FullHD (1920x1080 pixels), minimum
- RAM: 8 GB minimum; 16 GB is better. RAM in Apple laptops cannot be upgraded after purchase
- Video Card: A video card with dedicated RAM
- Storage: 250GB minimum
- All hardware to be purchased by the student.
- Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Comes with your Belhaven Outlook Email account)
- Adobe Creative Cloud
Graphic Design majors are required to purchase a personal laptop computer no later than the end of their sophomore year.
