Are you a licensed teacher in Mississippi? If so, you can add Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL) to your repertoire with Belhaven’s new online graduate certificate.

Courses in this 15-credit hour program explore topics such as principles of linguistics, methods of curriculum, instruction, and assessment for ESL (English as a Second Language) learners, and intercultural competence all taught from a Christian ​​​world ​​​​​​​perspective.

Students must contact the state department of education in the state or territory in which they reside to determine if the Mississippi TESOL certificate is accepted in their state or territory.

Earning Your TESOL Certificate Online

Admission into the TESOL Graduate Certificate program is open to Mississippi teachers who currently hold a 5-year license and seek to obtain the TESOL endorsement.
