Student mail should be addressed as follows:

John Doe
c/o Belhaven University
1500 Peachtree Street
Campus Box 111
Jackson, MS 39202-1789

(Please note that the campus box number is AFTER the street address and is NOT a "PO" box which denotes the downtown post office boxes).

We receive US Mail, UPS, and FedEx Monday through Friday. If you receive anything that is too big for your mailbox, a package slip will be put in your mailbox to notify you. Packages can be picked up any time the mailroom is open.

Mailbox keys are issued to students at the beginning of the school year and must be returned at the end of the school year (see charges/fees). Returning students will be reissued the same key and mailbox number. Students must have their mailbox key to get their mail. Mailroom employees will not check mail for them.

Mailboxes should be checked often as the business office, financial aid, and student development use the mailboxes to communicate important information.

All outgoing mail must be addressed correctly and must have a complete return mailing address. All carriers FedEx, UPS, and USPS  returned packages can be picked up here with returned labels to all carriers.

UPS, Express and Priority Mail supplies are available in the mailroom. Other supplies such as envelopes, tape, etc., can be purchased in the University Bookstore which is located on the 1st floor of the McCravey-Triplett Student Center.

Calculate postage for letters and packages sent by the US Postal Service.

All outgoing mail is picked up daily.

Employees or departments who anticipate sending out a large mailing are asked to notify Mail Services in advance at 601-968-5996.

Like any institution that receives mail for a large number of people at one address, the US Post Office will not forward mail. Therefore, when moving off campus, students are responsible for contacting those who send them mail to inform them of their address change.

In addition to relatives and friends, please remember to contact employers/former employers (to save yourself those frantic phone calls in March for tax forms), banks, student loan providers, cell phone service providers, magazine subscriptions, medical service providers etc.

For any questions regarding the shipping or receiving of mail, please call Mail Services at 601-968-5996.
